      Description

      Request for a way to specify different ID's and display text in order to be able to filter using the ID's of associated properties, and not by text. This is to allow the user to have a drop down instead of a text box for associated properties.

      Sample/suggested usage will be as follows:

      <filterpane:filterPane domainBean="com.ripple.master.Employee"
      associatedProperties="currentAssignment.project"
      excludeProperties="sex,sssIdNumber,hdmfIdNumber,philHealthIDNumber,taxIdentificationNumber,
      grpNumber,taxStatus,isActive"
      filterPropertyValues="$

      {['currentAssignment.project':[id:[1,2,3],label:['project1','project2','project3']]]}

      ">

      or some other way to specify a map...

        Now that I see your example, I can see how that would be useful. To answer your question, no you can't specify the labels separately right now. It is something that could be added quite easily though. I would probably check values attribute to see if it is a map (vs the String or List it can be now), and if so, use the keys for the search values and the map values as the labels. Could you enter a JIRA issue for this so it doesn't get lost?
