using Grails 1.0-RC4 tar balls, create a new application and expand it (Bookmark)
using Grails 1.0 tar balls, clean and upgrade project. It will fail stating error cannot execute method resourcedDirPath (on Clean_groovy) {almost all methods will complain the same thing about resourceDirPath}
using Grails 1.0 windows installer, clean and upgrade successful
