I've created a simple TagLibUnitTestCase which is heavily based on ControllerUnitTestCase - so much so that it would probably make sense to refactor some of the code from the two classes into a single base class.

Basic support has been added to the testing plugin and 1.1. Further improvements should be raised as separate issues.
